Loving Life To The Fullest Is A Story Everyone Should Write

When fear leaves give thanks.
Feeling terribly defeated, down and depressed things happened around me that kept me tied to my bed both day and night
Low self esteem was something I could’t seem to heal. And fear haunted my every move.
I was afraid to drive places on my own because I was stricken with anxiety. My stress levels were through the roof and I desperately needed help and healing.
Saying yes to things that I didn’t want to do was awful. I thought more of other people than I thought of myself. Putting other people’s feelings ahead of my own was not the right thing to do because it made me very unhappy. I wanted to feel loved and if saying yes would cause someone to love me regardless of how it made me feel I said yes.
This way of thinking kept my feet buried in quicksand and I was miserable.
Looking back on all the things that my mouth said yes to, but my heart was clearly saying no made me look like an unstable, confused and fearful person.
Unfortunately, I lived my life like this for too many years to count.
To be honest, I don’t even know where this kind of ignorance and thinking came from. It was ridiculous to live my life this way.
When Thinking Negatively Severely Impacts Your Life Make a Mind Shift
And then when my mother became too ill to care for herself I brought her into my home to care for her only to be disrespected by family members who entered my home to visit her. This was a nightmare for me because two of my siblings treated me horribly whenever they would come to visit. I tolerated their unkind behavior because I wanted to make sure that my mother was comfortable, cared for and deeply loved. In other words, I didn’t want my mother to know about the treatment I was receiving.
My mother lived with me for 5 years and after she passed I saw things in a completely different way.
Learning To Say No, Thank You, Is More Than Powerful
Realizing that I was worthy of happiness, joy and peace, I began working on myself in order to heal my heart and mind.
You see, my mind was all over the map. I was in a ball of confusion no knowing what to do with my days.
Even though I was still in a mild state of depression, I was still there and I didn’t want to be.
Reading and meditating on the word of God daily was and still is my morning routine. It wasn’t until the Holy Spirit began giving me clarity with understanding of what I was reading that my mind and path began to shift. It was nice to feel at ease and calm. Staying in God’s Word everyday makes a big difference when you have the wrong mindset.
Slowly I began shifting my negative thoughts to positive thoughts. However it took years for the shift to stay in one place in my mind. Living a life of struggle, as far as emotions, go, takes a whole lot of serious time. I wasn’t committed at first. I kept going back down that dark road that held me in bondage. It took years for me to stay focused on myself because of all the years I wasn’t able to focus on myself. My doing entirely.
Learning Life Can Be Amazing and a Beautiful
I’m still not where I want to be, but I climbing there and the commitment and journey are sensational I must say because I am learning.
Every Sunday I make a huge dinner and I drive to my two son’s who share a home.
My compassion for my family is something I don’t care to change because of my deep love for them.
Also, I’m often on the road driving to Washington, DC to help my daughter with her children so that she can focus on her interior design business more. Her husband works long hours and she needs my help. I am there!
During the week though, I try my best to focus my efforts on me and my beauty business. It doesn’t happen as much I should make it happen, but that’s okay too.
Staying Strong All The Days We Breathe
Learn How To Have A Loving Relationship for Life
I decided a few months ago that I am not going to beat myself up over what doesn’t get done. Happy, self-compassion and care are my number one priorities as well as spending time with God giving Him thanks in everything.
Another focus of mine is my husband. He basically does everything for himself, but cook. Since I love to make my family’s belly’s smile I just keep cooking.
With each passing day I am getting better with my emotions and my life. Some days I get a little down for personal reasons and that’s fine too. Life is a lesson and I never stop learning.
The important for me is I want to be sure that I am learning the lessons that I honestly need that have the power to change my life so that I get to enjoy my life to the fullest.
One thing that I love about my life and I mean I truly adore is the gifts that God has given me. God has blessed me with some amazing gifts and I love using them all for His glory.
Preparing Life For New Beginnings Everyday
As this year, 2025, starts to wind down, I promise myself to be better than the day before.
I’ll keep trying and I’ll keep pushing. If I get pushed or knocked down it’s okay because I already know that God is going to pick me up and keep me uplifted.
And now I sleep sound and what I mean is, I don’t worry about other people. I’m not concerned or bothered what they say or think about me.
I have finally learned to love every inch and color of myself. Happiness invades my space. Peace is deep in my spirit and Love loves me.
With so many gifts, my talents and my sensational skill set I do what I do because I love what I do. I see all of my dreams, which are many, coming to fruition. Some have come and gone while others are waiting for me to bring them into the light of my life.
My goals, visions and conversations are turning into success with ease. I’ll never give up on the things that the Holy Spirit has placed in my heart. All of my goals will be accomplished before this year concludes.
I’ve written them down and when Autumn arrives it will be another new beginning for me. Each and every month is a new start for me. I do this because I want to stay in the positive and not n the negative if that makes any sense. I could write a book about it and maybe one day I will. I truly believe it will a life changing blessing for many.
Sincerely,
Cyndi
